Halo Minier

Halo Minier’s work sits where a tattoo stops being decoration and starts being something you carry. Praying hands along a neck. A pocket watch holding a name and a date. A crowned Madonna down a calf. Devotional and memorial pieces, rendered in soft black and gray with patient shading.

There is ornamental work in the portfolio too, an ankh wrapped in lotus petals, an eye set in filigree, and the occasional burst of color when a piece calls for it. Most of it is scaled to a forearm or a shoulder rather than a full sleeve, which suits work that is meant to be looked at closely.
